Although Holden's is as it says on the tin, Black Country Born and Brewed, in recent years we have refurbished a number of pubs in our estate, the most recent being The Bell Inn at Trysull, due for completion Oct 2006 and the acquisition of a new pub in Ironbridge in 2005. With a few new premises in the pipeline, we are trying to diversify our market somewhat and not just stick within the Black Country.
We won the Silver Award for our Bitter at Champion Beer of Britain 2005 and a Bronze Award for Golden Glow at the Champion Awards 2006, giving major recognition for our beers within the industry, which will hopefully put us on the map nationally rather than just locally!!!
