Holden's is as it says on the tin, Black Country Born and Brewed. Our most recent refurbishment is of The New Inn Coseley which suffered a very unfortunate fire in the summer, it is now back up and running and even better than before.
In summer 2008 we launched our very own branded cider. Holden's Summat Else is a bitter-sweet cider which is made from fresh malvern apples.
We reached the final of the Sainsburys Beer competition in 2008 which saw our bottled Golden Glow go on sale in every one of Sainsbury's stores for 2 months. Unfortunately we were pipped to the post but it has given us major recognition for our beers within the industry, which will put us on the map nationally rather than just locally!!!
At Holden's we are looking to the future in an industry that is ever changing. We are one of only 33 independent family brewers left in Britain and we are still 100% family run by the third and fourth generations of the family.
